Yet another meme-creating character, Error introduces himself with the famous words: “I AM ERROR.” He later helps Link by telling him about a hidden tunnel leading to the Island Palace:

We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.“(1 John 4:6)

The Wise Men teach Link various spells such as the Fairy Spell and Spell Spell:

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.” (1 Corinthians 1:18-19)

Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.” (Isaiah 29:14)

How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain. The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?” (Jeremiah 8:8-9)

The Adventure of Link describes who can use the Triforce: “Not everybody can use the Triforce. It requires a strong character with no evil thoughts.:”

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.“(1 John 1:8)

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?“(Jeremiah 17:9)

And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.” (Genesis 8:21)
