These are pages 3 and 4 of the manuscript Return (seen in Alan Wake’s American Nightmare):
“Page 3: Rewriting Reality
The reality we take for granted is softer, more adaptable than we think. Under correct conditions, you can reshape it, turn it into almost anything you want. When it happens, almost nobody notices. It’s not that we forget; it’s that after the change, there’s nothing to remember.
Only those who have been directly touched by the powers that can shift reality are aware of the changes. Many are driven mad by it. Others can cope. I am one of those people, and I know to wield that power to rewrite reality.
Page 4: The Devil is in the Details
To change reality, you nudge it into the right direction. Your version of it is there, waiting; it wants to come true. All you need to do is to help it achieve its potential. The devil is in the details.
You change the details of the scene to match those on the page. If you get the details right, if you achieve that critical mass, the shift will come, and the rest of your new reality overrides the existing paradigm.
The lie — no matter how outrageous — is now the truth.”
Compare the scriptures below with the quotes above:
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4)
“He [God] made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.” (Psalm 18:11)
Alan Wake is in the Dark Place, which matches the description of where God is in Psalm 18:11:
That lines up with “so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.” Now look at the verses below:
“And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (2 Thessalonians 2:8-12)
It said that the man of sin’s coming “is after the working of Satan with all power“, just like how Alan said “I know to wield that power to rewrite reality.”
Then it said “and signs and lying wonders.” if you go to Revelation 13 it speaks about one of the three beasts doing a wonder:
“And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,” (Revelation 13:13)
Look at what Alan brought down from heaven:
Finally, it said God would send them a “strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.” Much like how Alan said “The lie — no matter how outrageous — is now the truth [which isn’t true].”
According to scripture, we can see that Alan Wake is the “Wicked” and “son of perdition” spoken about in the previous verses-the antichrist.
Three final verses:
“I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.” (John 8:24)
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
