Here is an update on how things are going here at Video Games and the Bible:
- Part 2 of One-Winged Angel is coming November 25 (this Monday).
- I’m also very excited to announce that a new series called Mario and the Bible: Thousand-Year (insert article subject here) is in development and should come during the holidays or the beginning of the new year. An excerpt:
“Mario is quite possibly the most famous, innocent and family-friendly figure in all of gaming. According to “Q” scores (the measure of how familiar and appealing a character, TV show, brand, etc. is to the American people), in the 1990’s, Mario became more popular than Mickey Mouse.
Nintendo almost single-handedly resurrected the video game industry after the video game crash of 1983. Since then, it has earned the loyalty of millions, and many gamers can trace their beginnings back to the original Super Mario Bros. on the NES.
With such an amazing and relatively spotless history, you would never associate Mario with demons, transgender witches, spirits or curses. However, we find all of this and more in Paper Mario and the Thousand-Year Door…”
Stay tuned and God bless.
