Last week, we reviewed the ambitious Early Access game StarForge
(you can see our review here).

Thanks to developer Code}{atch, you now have a chance to experience it yourself for free.

Contest details:

We have four questions/challenges for you to attempt. You can only submit one entry per category, so be sure of your answer!

  1. What was the day job of the founders of Code}{atch before working on StarForge full-time?
  2. What stellar objects does Mario collect in three separate games, and what are the names of those games?
  3. Compose a short song, story, poem, haiku, limerick, etc. about what you would do/make in StarForge’s world.
  4. Tell a story–real or fiction–about building a fort when you were young.
This challenge is based on Fort Defense’s similarity to building fortresses as a child.

All you have to do to enter is put your entry in the comment box below. Please specify what category/categories you are entering in your post.

Winners for questions 1 & 2 will be chosen randomly, while those for categories 3 & 4 will be chosen by Video Games and the Bible staff.

Winners will be chosen Sunday, June 1 at 12:00 PM PDT.

So to recap:

  • Four categories
  • Only one entry per entrant per category.
  • Only one Steam code can be won per entrant.
  • No friends, family, dependents or relations of Video Games and the Bible staff may enter.
  • Only family-friendly submissions will be accepted (in keeping with the tone of this site).
  • Winners are chosen Saturday, May 24 at 12:00 PM PDT.

Good luck and God bless!
