In Assassin’s Creed 2, you are first introduced to the town of Monteriggioni. Owned by the Auditore family, it has been passed down through the generations until Ezio arrives and co-rules with Mario until Mario’s death.
In this article, I would like to focus on the statues in Monteriggioni.
Hidden around the city are 8 statuettes, each depicting a Roman god. You go around the city collecting these statues, then put them on their respective pedestals.
There are two statuettes (pictured) representing Jupiter and Minerva, members of the First Civilization.
Here’s a small example of what God has to say regarding idols and false gods:
“Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God.” (Leviticus 19:4)
“They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols.” (Isaiah 45:16)
“What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?
But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.
“And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.“ (2 Corinthians 6:16-17)
“Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.” (Ezekiel 14:6)
“For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.” (Psalm 96:4-5)
“Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.” (1 John 5:21)
Minerva (one of three members of the First Civilization shown in the Assassin’s Creed series) spoke to Ezio in the Vault beneath the Vatican. When Ezio said “You are… gods.“, Minerva just laughed and said “No. Not gods. We simply came… before.”
Let’s examine Minerva’s statement:
After the Toba Catastrophe wiped out most of the First Civilization, they started breeding with humans. This created hybrids and the bloodline of future Assassins:
“And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God [“sons of God” usually refers to angels-in this case, the fallen angels.] saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.” (Genesis 6:1-2)
According to Assassin’s Creed, when the First Civilization mated with humans, they passed on abilities and skills such as a “sixth sense [AKA Eagle Vision].” This can be shown in Subject 16’s words in Glyph Puzzle #14: “Listen. Why do we have these gifts, these abilities? Because it’s in our blood.”
Puzzle #14 contained pictures of “gods” mating with humans. It stated: “The seeds were planted as two worlds became one. Behold, the Assassins, the children of two worlds!“:
“There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.” (Genesis 6:4)
“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” (Genesis 6:5)
“And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.” (Genesis 6:6-7)
From the verses above, we can conclude that the First Civilization is representing the fallen angels. 2 Peter 2:4 explains what happened to the fallen angels:
“For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;”
Jupiter, Minerva, and Juno lead Desmond to the battleground over the fate of the world at the Grand Temple in New York (which is what Assassin’s Creed 3 will be about):
“And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.” (Revelation 16:13-14)
Near the end of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, Shaun the historian says: “I know this. I know that symbol. That’s a Phrygian Cap. It stands for freedom…and that, that’s a Masonic Eye. Now those two come together in only one place–”

The unnamed place where these two symbols come together is the Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen:
Unlike the Declaration of Independence by which it was inspired, there is no mention of God-let alone Him giving us rights.
These symbols (the Phrygian Cap representing freedom, and the Masonic Eye the occult) emanating from the Apple of Eden and the connection with the declaration mentioned above, combine to form a message of man attempting to “free” himself from God.
“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.”
Did you know that there are Biblical characters in the Assassin’s Creed franchise? For the first part of our Assassin’s Creed (AC) series we will be examining how these portrayals line up with the Bible itself.

JESUS CHRIST:
The first and most important portrayal is of Jesus Christ.
Assassin’s Creed alleges that the miracles of Jesus were performed using the power of the Shroud of Eden. Instead of being God in the flesh, he is depicted as a mere man in possession of a magical artifact (among others).
This Glyph puzzle has the player identify those who have worn the Shroud of Eden. As you’ll soon see, Jesus is featured here TWICE. Notice the quote: “First plucked from a tree guarded by a snake, it’s powers perform miracles.“
The biblical Joseph, at one point second-in-command over all of Egypt.
The mythological Jason, leader of the Argonauts.
Jesus Christ with his apostles.
The biblical David (King of Israel and ancestor of Jesus Christ) cutting off Goliath’s head.
Jesus Christ before his crucifixion.
In contrast to this idea, the Bible states that Jesus is both Christ and God in the flesh:
“When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 16:13-17)
“There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him [and yet AC states that the SHROUD’S power works the miracles].” (John 3:1-2)
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.“ (Philippians 2:5-8)
So what spirit is behind Assassin’s Creed?:
“Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.” (1 John 2:22-23)
Before the birth of Jesus, the Assassins tried to bring Brutus (of Julius Caesar fame) back to life using the Shroud of Eden and failed. A partial transcript: “Whatever power lies within this artifact, it has not returned our Brother to us. We close his eyes again. There is no sign that he had ever moved. Some of us weep. It is a second death.” Revelation 21:7-8:
“He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
AC’s assertion that the Shroud has no power to resurrect (Confirmed on the wiki: “Despite the rumors of its abilities to do so, it [the Shroud] could not be used to bring a being back to life.“) links it to Matthew 28:11-15:
“Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.
And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they [the Pharisees] gave large money unto the soldiers, Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept. And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.
So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.”
Assassin’s Creed is spreading the same lie about Jesus Christ as the Pharisees did: that Jesus did not rise from the dead, but was instead stolen by his disciples. How?
When AC declares that the Shroud is the only source of Jesus’ power, yet cannot raise the dead…That implies Jesus was ALSO NOT raised from the dead. How else could his body have disappeared, except it was stolen by his disciples?
AC says that the Templars, under the guise of the Roman Empire, killed Jesus simply to take the Shroud.

The message shown when examining this picture of Jesus on the cross is “They took it.” By “it,” AC meant both the Shroud and his life.
“Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.”
In Assassin’s Creed 2, Glyph puzzle #7, Desmond (the main character) gets this message: “Keep on seeking, and you will find.”
“And ye shall seek me [God], and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
Rather than seeking God, Desmond is seeking an alternate “truth.”
“Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.” (Hosea 4:1)
Remember the Assassins Creed? “Nothing is true, everything is permitted.” In John 17:17 it also says: “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”
At the end of Desmond’s seeking in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, he finds Subject 16. Among other things, Subject 16 tells him: “I am with you until the end.”
Jesus said something very similar over 2000 years ago in Matthew 28:20:
“Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
Subject 16 also told Desmond to “Find me in the darkness.”
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
Isn’t it interesting that immediately after this encounter with Subject 16, we see Desmond in free-fall?:

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!” (Isaiah 14:12)
MOSES:
Assassin’s Creed claims that Moses used a Staff of Eden to free the Israelites from Egyptian rule. They say that he used the Staff’s powers of mind control and creation of illusions to “part” the Red Sea. According to Exodus 4:2-4, Exodus 14:15-16 and Exodus 14:15-22, God freed the Israelites using Moses and an ordinary rod:
“And the Lord said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod. And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. And the Lord said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:” (Exodus 4:2-4)
“And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:
But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.” (Exodus 14:15-16)
And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.” (Exodus 14:21-22)
JOHN THE BAPTIST:
Assassin’s Creed further claims that John the Baptist used a Staff of Eden to start his ministry. In John 1:6-8, the Bible says that God sent John:
“There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.”
PETER:
AC says that the apostle Peter also used a Staff of Eden, this time to become the first leader of the Christian Church. If we go to Matthew 16:18 we see that Jesus says something different:
“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
CAIN AND ABEL:
In Assassin’s Creed 2, Glyph puzzle #6 revolves around Cain and Abel. AC uses quotes in this puzzle from “Pearl of Great Price,” written by Mormonism founder Joseph Smith. This book is another gospel, Galatians 1:8:
“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”
According to AC series lore, Cain killed Abel in order to get one of the Apples of Eden. Here is the real reason Cain killed his brother, straight from the Bible:
“For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.” (1 John 3:11-12)
“The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.” (Psalm 37:32)
CONCLUSION:
The Assassin’s Creed series has the exact elements of 2 Corinthians 11:4:
“For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.”
We have another Jesus in the form of Subject 16, another gospel in AC’s skewing of biblical people and events, and another spirit: the spirit of antichrist.
This erroneous interpretation of the Bible and biblical characters creates both confusion and doubt. In 1 Corinthians 14:33 it states that God is not the author of confusion.
What will you do with what you have learned? According to Romans 14:11-12, every one of us, including you and I, is going to give an account before God. The question is, are you ready?

Lord Jabu-Jabu (seen here) is the fish god of the Zora people. Dagon is also a fish god, and we can see them both in 1 Samuel 5:2-5:
“When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon. And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of the Lord. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again. And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the Lord; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him. Therefore neither the priests of Dagon, nor any that come into Dagon’s house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod unto this day.”
Lord Jabu-Jabu swallows Link. Turn to Jeremiah 51:34 and Revelation 12:9:
“Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath swallowed me up like a dragon [look at this picture of Jabu-Jabu], he hath filled his belly with my delicates, he hath cast me out.” (Jeremiah 51:34)
“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” (Revelation 12:9)
Throughout the Zelda games (including this one) you see elemental temples such as the fire temple, water temple and forest temple. Take a look at Galatians 4:8-9:
“Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods. But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?”
One of the many songs played on the Ocarina of Time is the Sun’s Song which changes night to day and day to night, fast-forwarding time. The Sun’s Song also stuns ReDeads and Gibdos for a short period. Check out Daniel 2:20-21:
“Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:”
The Song of Storms creates a rainstorm. Turn to Psalm 107:23-25:
“They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; These see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep. For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.”
Another interesting thing about the Song of Storms: In Majora’s Mask, Flat (one of the two composer brothers), reveals the origins and meaning of the song: “You who do not fear the dead, learn well the song that is inscribed behind me… And if you ever meet my brother, I’d like you to inform him… The thousand years of raindrops summoned by my song are my tears. The thunder that strikes the earth is my anger!” Turn to Ezekiel 13:13:
“Therefore thus saith the Lord God; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.”
One spell I would like to address is Din’s fire. It is most notably used to light the candles/torches at the entrance of the Shadow Temple. Turn to Psalm 18:28:
“For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.”
Flat and Sharp (the aforementioned composer brothers) are Poes, which are ghosts. Link speaks to them several times, especially in Majora’s Mask. Look at Deuteronomy 18:10-12:
“There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.”
A necromancer and a person who consults with familiar spirits is someone who talks to/ interacts with the dead. A biblical example of this is in 1 Samuel 28:6-14.
Zelda disguises herself as Sheik (a man) while Link is sealed inside the Temple of Time seven years, as well as during most of the game. Turn to Deuteronomy 22:5:
“The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.”
The Pedestal of Time is a high place contained within the Temple of Time. Later, in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess the “Sacred Grove” grows in place of the Temple of Time.
Throughout the Bible, groves and high places are commonly associated with idol worship, breaking both the first and second commandments: “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” And, “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.” You can go to Exodus 20 for the complete list of commandments.
“And they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.” (2 Kings 17:16)
“And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves.” (Judges 3:7)
“And he [Manasseh] did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the Lord cast out before the children of Israel. For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven [In Zelda, “the host of heaven” could refer to the Golden Goddesses], and served them.” (2 Kings 21:2-3)
Here we see God’s judgement of the high places and groves:
“For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images.When God heard this, he was wroth, and greatly abhorred Israel:” (Psalm 78:58-59)
“And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the Lord God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.” (1 Kings 16:33)
“And the children of Israel did secretly those things that were not right against the Lord their God, and they built them high places in all their cities, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city. And they set them up images and groves in every high hill, and under every green tree: And there they burnt incense in all the high places, as did the heathen whom the Lord carried away before them; and wrought wicked things to provoke the Lord to anger: For they served idols, whereof the Lord had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing.” (2 Kings 17:9-12)
And here we see God’s judgement on the high places and groves:
“And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God; Thus saith the Lord God to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.
And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols. And I will lay the dead carcases of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.” (Ezekiel 6:3-5)
“And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.” (Leviticus 26:30)
According to Zelda series lore, the three pieces of the Triforce were created by and represent the three “Golden Goddesses:” Din, Nayru, and Farore. These three deities also created the Hylian universe. Some have theorized that the Triforce could also represent the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). However, there is another group of three in the Bible:
“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” (1 John 2:16)
In 2 Corinthians 11:3-4 we see how Paul warns the Corinthians against another Jesus, another spirit and another gospel:
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.”
Let’s see if we can find a few ways where another gospel, another spirit and another Jesus are being shown in this series:
Farore, goddess of Courage is said to have “…produced all life forms who would uphold the law.” Look at Ecclesiastes 7:20 and Romans 3:12: “For there isnota just man upon earth, that doeth good, andsinneth not.“(Ecclesiastes 7:20)
“They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” (Romans 3:12)
She is commonly associated with wind as well, as seen in the Ocarina of Time Spell Farore’s Wind. Try looking at Acts 2:1-4 and John 3:8:
“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” (Acts 2:1-4)
“The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.” (John 3:8)
Even in Skyward Sword, the demon Demise said that an incarnation of his hatred would forever follow those who “share the blood of the goddess (Princess Zelda) and the spirit of the hero (Link).” Link’s spirit-the part of the Triforce that is identified with him (the Triforce of Courage), is that of the goddess Farore. By the Bible verses we’ve seen, it can be said that Farore is the “another spirit” mentioned in 2 Corinthians 11.
Nayru, the goddess of Wisdom, is said to have “poured her wisdom onto the earth and gave the spirit of law to the world.” While Din, the goddess of Power is said to have “with her strong flaming arms, cultivated the land and created the red earth.” Try 1 Chronicles 22:12, Ephesians 1:17, Colossians 2:1-3, Romans 8:2, Daniel 2:20, James 1:5, Psalm 62:11, 1 Corinthians 1:23-24, and 1 Corinthians 1:30.
“Only the LORD give thee wisdom, and understanding, and give thee charge concerning Israel, that thou mayest keep the law of the LORD thy God.” (1 Chronicles 22:12)
“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” (Romans 8:2)
“God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.” (Psalm 62:11)
“For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh; That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” (Colossians 2:1-3)
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” (James 1:5)
“Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:” (Daniel 2:20)
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:” (Ephesians 1:17)
“But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.” (1 Corinthians 1:23-24)
“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:” (1 Corinthians 1:30)
The fact that Bible verse after Bible verse connect power, wisdom, and the law to God mean that these two goddesses are the “another Jesus” mentioned in 2 Corinthians 11. Nayru also qualifies for this. How? Well according to 1 John 5:7 God, the Holy Spirit and Jesus are one and the same: “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.“
The in-game mythology of these goddesses and others such as Hylia, along with the Triforce is the “another gospel” mentioned in 2 Corinthians 11-the exact thing Paul warned us against. Four final verses about the Golden Goddesses, their Triforce and what the Bible says about them:
“Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.” (Isaiah 44:6)
“(For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye passed by; And ye have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them:)” (Deuteronomy 29:16-17)
“For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.” (Psalm 96:4-5)
“The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not; They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths. They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.” (Psalm 135:15-18)
“Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.” (1 John 5:21)
Yet another meme-creating character, Error introduces himself with the famous words: “I AM ERROR.” He later helps Link by telling him about a hidden tunnel leading to the Island Palace:
“We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.“(1 John 4:6)
The Wise Men teach Link various spells such as the Fairy Spell and Spell Spell:
“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.” (1 Corinthians 1:18-19)
“Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.” (Isaiah 29:14)
“How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain. The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them?” (Jeremiah 8:8-9)
The Adventure of Link describes who can use the Triforce: “Not everybody can use the Triforce. It requires a strong character with no evil thoughts.:”

Everybody remembers the Secret Moblin, the meme-creating pig-like creature that hands you some rupees while saying “IT’S A SECRET TO EVERYBODY.” Look at Isaiah 45:19 and Daniel 2:20-22:
“I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth (Check out where the Secret Moblin is located): I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.” (Isaiah 45:19)

The Book of Magic has a cross on it, and was originally called the Bible in Japan before having the name changed on its arrival in the United States. While searching through Bible verses that reveal Jesus Christ as God in the flesh, I think of how much confusion there is-even among many self-professed Christians regarding this issue. Since the KJV Bible is the ultimate authority, I have compiled a few verses that should resolve any question as to who Jesus Christ really is.

Isaiah 5:20 says: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Also, Psalm 119:105 says that: “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
In Isaiah 5, we see the wicked reverse things, putting light for darkness, etc. Also, we see that God’s word is light according to Psalm 119:105. Here are two instances where the Darksiders series has twisted and reversed Scripture:
In the game, Abaddon is the original commander of the armies of Heaven. In the Bible, he is king of the creatures of the bottomless pit (the opposite of the role of his video game counterpart) according to Revelation 9:7-11:
“And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.”
Abaddon is eventually killed by the Horseman of the Apocalypse who is named War, after being defeated in both his dragon and fallen angel forms. The Abaddon of the game seems to represent Lucifer according to Isaiah 14:12 and Revelation 12:9.
Abaddon, Azrael and Ulthane break all but the seventh seal to kick-start the apocalypse. This goes against Revelation 5:1-5 where it states that only one person, whose attributes clearly reveal him to be Jesus, can break the seven seals:
“And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.”
Perhaps the most disturbingly evil part of the game has to do with the Tree of Knowledge. In the game, War must go to the tree to be given a “gift.” He is then enlightened about several things such as the true identity of The Destroyer (Abaddon), and how to defeat him.
