Space Engineers is an Early Access title in Alpha. This means the game is not fully optimized and various bugs are present.
However, this also means that Space Engineers is continually being updated, refined and improved based on YOUR feedback (weekly, in this case).
The feature list is available here, and you can watch the games’ development progress here.

NNC (or Nearly No Commentary) is Video Games and the Bible’s new video resource to further assist you in choosing the right games for your family.
Alongside our usual reviews and previews, NNC provides a look at some of the various games we cover, as well as a brief description of the game and any Potential Concerns you may encounter as a Christian.

In today’s NNC we feature Black Ice,* a title that combines the shooting, item gathering and character improvement aspects of games like Borderlands with a chunky neon aesthetic reminiscent of Tron.
Potential Concerns include:
Overall, Black Ice is a great (and certainly addictive) alternative to titles like Borderlands, but still has potential issues of its own. You can try it yourself here, and watch our Nearly No Commentary gameplay video below (please note that the price will eventually increase to $20 USD as features are added).
Popular crowdfunding website Kickstarter not only features gadgets and artistic initiatives, but also video games that need YOUR support to see the light of day.
In this post, we’re spotlighting the family-friendly, first-person Christian adventure game, Through the Shadows…

I didn’t know what to expect from the Kickstarter project, Through the Shadows. A family-friendly survival horror game? A graphically impressive first-person adventure? A story-driven Christian puzzler?
The answer: all of the above.
The annual Steam Summer Sale has begun, with nearly every game on Steam available at discounts ranging from 10% to 90%.
Since Video Games and the Bible has reviewed quite a few of the titles being discounted (and still has some to preview/review), I decided to create a page of these games and their current (discounted) price.
Remember, every game purchased supports the developer to create more and
the sale only lasts until July 1 (Monday)!

In today’s “Video Games and the Bible Plays…” we feature Action Henk*.
Action Henk is a speedy, wonderfully nostalgic platformer in the vein of Joe Danger or Sonic the Hedgehog. Playing as a variety of eccentric toys, you’ll jump over “lava,” swing through perilous gaps and butt-slide down matchcar tracks to get the fastest time possible.
Take that, Gold Henk!
Please note that the game is an Early Access beta release, so the mileage you get out of the levels currently available may vary. However, all updates/content added to the game ahead of its release date is free of charge.
You also get an exclusive outfit for Action Henk by purchasing during Early Access:
Sonic, anyone?
Potential Concerns:
One of Henk’s unlockable skins is a ballerina outfit (“Swan Henk“).
Action Henk gameplay:
Buy Now! (Steam)
Buy Now! (Humble Store)
Purchasing this game through the Humble Store (above) not only gives you a Steam code, but DRM-free copies of the game on every available platform.
10% of each purchase through Humble Store goes to charity.
